Another Broken Egg Cafe Announces Milestone 100th Opening
Another Broken Egg Cafe, the award-winning, “NextGen Casual” restaurant brand, announced the opening of its highly anticipated 100th cafe. Before the end of April, the elevated daytime-only dining concept will open the doors to guests at its 99th and 100th cafes in Virginia Beach, Virginia, and Tyler, Texas, respectively.
While the brand has come a long way since its founding in 1996, the menu still stays true to its Louisiana roots with Southern-inspired dishes and signature cocktails. Now in 16 states, the brand continues to expand nationwide and is projected to open an additional 15 cafes by the end of this year with nearly 100 additional units in development in diverse markets across the country.
Another Broken Egg Cafe will open its 99th cafe in Virginia Beach this month, the second in the state of Virginia. The location will be owned and operated by EOS Ventures, Inc., a Virginia-based restaurant ownership group that also owns a cafe in Williamsburg. Longtime franchisees and brother-sister duo, Ray Pynes and Lacy Galligan, will open the 100th cafe in Tyler, Texas. This is their third Another Broken Egg Cafe, with two additional locations in Shreveport and Bossier City, Louisiana.
“I am incredibly honored to be part of the growth of Another Broken Egg Cafe as we celebrate the exciting achievement of reaching 100 restaurants,” says Paul Macaluso, president and CEO. “I recently had the pleasure of sitting down with our founder, Ron Green, to reflect on this remarkable journey and how far we’ve come as a brand. Together with the support of our entire team and franchise partners, we’ve created a community that inspires spirited connections through amazing food and inviting hospitality.”
To further commemorate the road to 100, Another Broken Egg Cafe will celebrate systemwide during National Brunch Month in April by partnering with Milagro Tequila on a sweepstakes giveaway. The National Brunch Month Sweepstakes offers guests the chance to instantly win one of several prizes, including a grand prize trip for two to New Orleans.
