Much like cars, our bodies need proper fuel to perform. While at Another Broken Egg we have no issues with splurging when it comes to food (and it shows on our menu), we also know making educated decisions about what you put in your body can make a huge difference in the way your body performs. If instead of vitamins, proteins and healthy fats, we continuously put highly processed, sugary and fatty foods into our body, it may be able to function, but just like a fine sports car that has been fueled with a low-grade gas, it won’t be able to perform at its maximum capacity.
Foods that contain these energy producing ingredients are commonly known as superfoods. One superfood may contain a host of different health benefits and fitting them into our diet is important. Thankfully, there are plenty of delicious superfoods that we can munch on to keep our energy levels up throughout the day.
With many superfoods rising in popularity, you may have noticed we feature quite a few of them on our menu. With a variety of these ingredients to select from, ranging from avocados to eggs to quinoa and pomegranates, we believe anyone can find a super brunch to help jump-start even the most draining days.
Avocados are one superfood our guests will find in multiple entrees on our menu. Not only are they delicious, but they also are healthy! The avocados we serve in our cafes come from Avocados from Mexico and are guaranteed fresh year-round.
With so many superfood options to select from, Chef Jason can get very creative. One way he has done this is by creating entrees for guests with varying food or dietary restrictions. For protein eaters, we have our Salmon Avocado Toast, Salmon Power Bowl and Chicken, Mango & Spinach Salad. Our vegetarian guests can order our Huevos Rancheros, Granola, Fruit & Quinoa Power Bowl or our seasonal Toasted Coconut & Quinoa Power Bowl!
If these entrees don’t fit the bill, we offer the option to customize any order. Our made-to-order option allows you to switch things up so what you order is exactly what you want. Whether it be a food preference or a dietary restriction, we always want to make sure every entrée we serve is perfect for you.
