Chris Gouras and his brother, George, opened their first Another Broken Egg Cafe location in April 2011 in Ridgeland, Mississippi. But the idea came from a conversation between Chris and a colleague over dinner one night about the lack of good breakfast restaurants in the area. This exchange sparked a fire within Chris and prompted him to call his brother, George. During the call, both agreed the area could use a good breakfast/brunch option.

Opening an Another Broken Egg Cafe restaurant in Destin wasn’t a hard decision. The opportunity to bring a menu loaded with fresh ingredients and creative recipes across a wide variety of breakfast classics, memorable brunch dishes and lunchtime favorites was too good to pass up.
Ron and Teresa Schier both come from military backgrounds. Ron is a retired Army Signal Corp Officer from Chicago and Teresa comes from a military family who has lived all over the world. Having lived in and visited over 36 countries, Ron and Teresa agree they would choose no other place to live than Auburn, Alabama. Ron and Teresa have always been deeply passionate about serving others and believe the restaurant business is the best way to do just that in Auburn.

Areeb Manji has always known he wanted to open his own restaurant; a desire that was bolstered during the seven years he worked in the industry after graduating college in Houston. Just like Gretzky, Areeb understands the need to plan for the future and make moves toward where you need to be to achieve success.
This Another Broken Egg Cafe location is owned and operated by Herbert and Lorraine Buckner who are long-time residents of neighboring Madison. After working 10 years as an Aerospace Engineer, Buddy opened a Chiropractic business serving the Huntsville/Madison area which has been thriving for 19 years. Lorraine dreamed of owning her own Another Broken Egg Cafe after visiting the Sandestin location over many summer trips.
This Another Broken Egg Cafe location is owned and operated by OPG Holdings and is supervised locally by Territory Manager, Shaun Kern.

After retiring from working in McDonald’s for 43 years, I became restless not going to work every day.
After sharing with my wife my desire to go back to work she happened to take me to Another Broken Egg Cafe in Destin, Florida, and I fell in love with the brand. I especially loved the shrimp and grits. I knew Another Broken Egg would be a great fit for me.
Ryan Craig, originally from Carmel, IN, has spent his entire life living in and around the Fisher’s community. For 20 years he has worked in the restaurant industry making a name for himself in Indiana.
