General Information:
Type of Operations: Full sit down casual dining café specializing in Breakfast, Brunch and Lunch. Offering a unique and diversified menu throughout the day from as early as 6 -7 a.m. to 2 -3 p.m., 7 days a week. Hours may vary depending on location.
Demographics: In general, areas that have a medium family income of $75,000 +. Preferably $90,000 +. A mixed residential, business and commercial environment. Four and Five Star Resort areas with high end clientele, golf & tennis communities.
Site Criteria: Ideally 3,500 to 4,000 square feet with covered exterior seating for "al fresca" dining. End cap desirability in a boutique mall environment. High traffic counts to drive continual sales throughout the day part. Commercial environment preferred.
Original Opening: November 1996 in Mandeville, Louisiana
Employees to Operate: 8 – 12 Full Time / 10 – 15 Part Time
Training: Initial training at Corporate restaurant, up to 6 weeks. At your café location, we are on site 10 days prior to opening and up to 5 days after a “soft” grand opening.
Average Customer Check: Depending on region, usually $12 per guest.
Estimated Investment: Approximately $250 k - $700 k. depending on location, building, and build out costs.
Franchise Fee: $60,000 fee includes training program, manuals, site assistance, marketing, dissemination of all systems.
Royalty Fee: 4% of net sales (minus sales tax) fixed
Advertising Fund: 2.5% of net sales for local direct advertising .5% of net sales for national fund and advertising development (print ads, commercials, etc.).
Unencumbered Equity Requirement: Approximately $250 k +
